From the classroom to operations to special education, I bring over 15 years of commitment to student growth, inclusive practice, and the belief that every learner deserves a champion.
Get in touchI started my career as a teaching assistant and creative writing instructor at UMass Amherst, and quickly discovered that education was my calling. Since then, I've taught English Language Arts in Brooklyn, chaired a Social Emotional Learning department, led school operations at a progressive independent school in Berkeley, and most recently returned to the classroom through a special education fellowship.
Whether I'm designing curriculum around social justice and multiculturalism, coordinating strategic planning, or providing individualized support for students with diverse learning needs — my work is always centered on equity, collaboration, and community.

CompletedTeaching is the work of removing barriers so that every student has a real opportunity to learn.
Students come into the classroom with different experiences, abilities, and ways of understanding the world — and those differences are not problems to fix but realities to design for. Learning happens when students feel both supported and challenged, and my role is to create conditions where that balance exists: making content accessible, expectations clear, and learning meaningful.
I use flexible approaches so students can engage with material and show what they know in ways that work for them. Whether I'm coaching a colleague, designing curriculum, or supporting a student one-on-one, I'm guided by the conviction that inclusive, compassionate education can transform lives. My work bridges the classroom and the boardroom because both spaces shape how young people experience school.
